Our Story

The Mini Verse® story begins over 20 years ago in a small workshop in the British countryside. Our founder, Mary Smith, had a passion for crafting tiny furnishings and dollhouses. As a child, Mary spent hours playing with her dollhouse, making up stories and pretending the dolls were a family. She wanted to recreate that magic for a new generation.

After studying sculpture and set design in university, Mary began handcrafting meticulously detailed miniatures out of wood, fabric, polymer clay, and other materials. Every creation was unique, from the 1:12 scale Victorian dollhouse with spiral staircases to the mid-century modern kitchen complete with miniature utensils and appliances.

Word spread quickly about Mary’s imaginative designs. Local toy shops soon carried her products and collectors around the world sought out her one-of-a-kind pieces. Over the years the company grew, expanding both our talented team of artists and product lines. But the same artisanal quality and attention to detail remains at the heart of every Mini Verse® item.

Today our designers carry on Mary’s tradition, releasing new miniatures every season. Our range has grown to include mini playsets, tiny toys, replica foods, and more, while maintaining the realistic style and craftsmanship Mini Verse® is known for. Dollhouses

Our dollhouses start with hand-drawn designs then take shape using high quality birch wood, millwork, and the latest printing methods. The exterior features impressive brickwork, shingles, window boxes overflowing with tiny flowers, and other realistic details. Inside, wallpaper, crown molding, hardwood floors, and fireplaces add style. Lighting, electricity, and fully-decorated rooms allow for imaginative play.

Kitchens

Mini Verse® kitchens are filled with functioning appliances and accessories that look just like the real thing. Using polymer clay, our artists hand-sculpt miniature blenders, stand mixers, coffee makers, and other kitchen electrics with incredible accuracy. Tiny porcelain sinks, oven ranges, and refrigerator exteriors are similarly lifelike. Every drawer and cabinet is filled with cooking tools and tableware.

Replica Foods

From pie to pasta, pizza to popcorn, our faux foods look good enough to eat! Using polymer clay, acrylic paints, and expert technique, we hand-sculpt miniature meals like hamburgers, ice cream cones, and frothy lattes. Realistic textures, drizzles, and toppings make each treat tempting. Our replica foods add realism to any dollhouse or miniature setting.

Tiny Toys

Dolls, stuffed animals, blocks, balls, and everything in between fill our 1:12 scale playrooms. We create pint-sized versions of classic toys, from teddy bears to trucks, as well as miniature models of contemporary hits. Each tiny toy is crafted to look like the larger real-life item kids know and love. Polymer clay, fabric, and plastic ensures softness and details like stitching.
